He admits that he thought he was going to lose under that situation. He admits to trying to get the no decision. I respect that, but he should have just tried to fight on.
Classy interview by Rahman though

Yeah and it is appearing more justified now that Rahman admits he wanted it to go to a no contest. It backfired on him, but he has a point. He won the first 2 rounds and all of a sudden every punch Toney throws is landing on him. He would have been stopped with that kind of accumulation. Nobody should be EXPECTED to put up with that when an illegal headbutt started it.Comment

Marquez, Vitali, Pac, Diaz, and other have fought with cuts and bloods covering their eyes. Its no excuse.Comment

he was completely right
but hed never win with that attitude
did you see the way he fought after he got headbutted? he FOLDED. you could sense it in his body language. it was like judah-cotto except much worse. he created the excuse to why hes gonna lose before he even finished the fight.
i bet he ****ing practiced that "home cooking, fighting on a goosen card, in california" in the ****ing mirror all night before the fight expecting to lose a decision. now he recites all that PLUS he couldnt see.
COMPLETELY has a point when he says it should have gone to the scorecards. COMPLETELY has a point when he says the ref stopped the fight.
but dont let that blind you into thinking he is NOT A COMPLETE *****.Comment
