For everybody that has a bet with me

I stated that I was going to do this earlier in the thread, but how do I go about regaining the Karma? Here's my ruling, since I'm a HNIC around here - or in my case, HCrIC:
Because there's a valid argument for an appeal, it's fair that all bets on this fight remain suspended until the decision is either upheld or overturned.
If the bout becomes a no-contest, then all bets are void.
If it remains a TKO, then withoutthee88 you either pay up all bets or find somewhere else to post.Comment

If the commission reverses the decision then the bets should be off. But if they don't, then it's tough **** and you need to pay.Comment

i dont think its fair not to pay everyone you bet against (and i didnt bet with you) but i believe you should treat bets how sportsbooks do...
the official first ruling (as announced by JL jr.) was a TKO victory for TONEY would mean ANYONE who bet on a toney victory would be paid...
if the ruling is changed later on (after review) the sportsbooks dont take the money back...
it was the first official ruling (the NC was simply speculation) so i think its fair to pay anyone you bet with.
in my opinion of course.Comment

Bets don't work like this. There is ALWAYS controversy in boxing. If you don't go by the instant, official decision then it is chaos. It becomes a matter of opinion if you don't go by it and no one ever has to pay a bet. You're not betting on your view of things when you make a bet. You're simply betting on the W/L record change immediately after the fight. Could you imagine if someone pulled this on a real bet?
It doesn't matter if you bet on Lennox Lewis in his first fight with Holyfield, on Sweet Pea against Chavez, on Santa Cruz to pull the upset last year... It doesn't matter what you think, what you believe. That is totally irrelevant. If that matters then no one ever has to pay because they can see a fight however they want. This is ******ed.Comment
