Arum wasn't paying anyone 8 mil. The amount was 7 mil, and he only wanted to smear Floyd because Floyd was leaving him. Everyone believes everything about another boxer until their boxer is criticized lol. The economics of boxing don't add up when you say Arum offered 8 mil to Floyd. They say Floydhsn't defended the titles in 2-3 years. Why doesn't he have all the titles he won first off? Second, why is any man stripped for not paying sanctioning fees. Third, who was in the top 10 that he had to defend against. Say he didn't fight the other so-called champions right away, who was the contender he was supposed to defend against at that time? Each sanctioning body had a top 10 ranking...

Im not discrediting Williams at all. He is a good fighter, but i dont see how the division will die without him or Floyd as boof claims. Truth is, Williams is damn near commiting suicide by trying to make 147.

I just remembered why I never respected your thoughts on boxing.

Winky Wrights biggest win was shutting out trinidad, he got it when trinidad was feeling himself and decided he could take him.

if you are talking about his first win with shane, i have no idea why shane took this fight, it was a terrible management desicion and instead of taking a DLH rematch he got stifled by wright, you could say it was brave, but nobody really gave him a chance to win (and rightfully so), his fight with wright was universally derided because he took less money to fight a much tougher fight on a smaller scale and it derailed his career (ala forrest) once again.

If Arums's $8mil offer wasnt legit as u claim, how do we know that Floyd actually made $8mil+$1 to fight Baldomir. When the question was presented to Dan Goosen during a btalk interview with G.Leon, his answer was "its not about the money. Its about the best WW in the world, fighting the best fighter in the world" He completely refused to answer if Floyd was actually making $8.000.001.

I support many black fighters, but Williams really gets nothing from me.

He looks off balance on every punch he throws.
He gets all this credit for his workrate when most of those punches he throws come off as slaps (ala Calzaghe).
