thank you for setting me straight. i didn't realize that.
You need to stop making judgements based on boxrec and statistics.

What does him being 27-0 have to do with anything??? Confident?? More like overconfident....looking way past him. He dominated the first round but was too careless and got caught.

The guy that Floyd faced did come off of a bad performance against Baldomr, it's true. But he was also at his best since the rematch against Cory Spinks. No trash talking from judah at press conf.'s.....just training. He was focused and ready and got beat by the better fighter in a competitive fight.

why is it that you guys are comparing the zab from the PBF to the Kostya fights
even if zab of the mayweather fight fought kostya during theirs, the result would just be the same imho,
youre all overlooking kostyas punch. packs a good deal of wallop me thinks.

zab has all the talent in the world. what stops him from being great?

        his mental toughness.

an undefeated zab judah that is confident is better than the zab judah who has loss.

how many fighters were never the same after they suffered their first loss.

confidence is very important to a fighter. that's why guys who have an 0 fight hard to keep it. once you've tasted a loss far easier for the mind to justify allowing another one.

records mean a lot depending on the type of fighter. it could make you stronger or weaker depending on the fighter.

they're trying to count floyd's win while discounting kostya's win over the same fighter.

i'm just waiting for someone to say the sharmba mitchell that floyd beat would've beat kostya.

UGH.....now you're speaking in general. Am I talking to a guy who hasn't even watched these fights?????

If you've seen the fights and the road to those fights it was clear that Judah was more prepared physically and mentally against Mayweather and Spinks (in the rematch) for that matter. No trash talking, just training and staying focused. One earned him a undisputed welterweight championship knocking out Spinks late in the fight. The other, a close but decisive loss to Mayweather.

            NUFF SAID.

I don't know who is discounting Tszyu's win over Judah. I'm not.

I'm simply saying the version of Judah that fought Floyd Mayweather was the best version of Judah and would probably have beaten Tzyu.

The same way I (and you probably) think that Tszyu could have beaten Verno Phillips had they fought again, the same way I think the Judah that fought Floyd would have avenged his loss to Kostya.

                2. you keep bringing up floyd beating oscar. now could the oscar floyd beat even make 140?

you do realize there's a thing called aging and fighters being past prime right?
By the time floyd and tszyu would have fought, tszyu would have been either 33/36, he would have been inactive, he would have been past it no matter what.

so if i don't agree with you , i must not have seen the fights?

or maybe i just don't see it the same way you do.

                  i think it's the latter.

                    it's all hypothetical.

                    the fight never happened.

what can we do but guess and make assumptions?

mine is prime vs. prime kostya could've knocked out floyd. if it went to a decision i think floyd wins it.

No it's the logic behind your disagreement.

                      - The 27-0 Judah was better and more confident then the beaten Judah -

                      - Once you lose your 0 you're no longer at your best-

Was Kostya Tszyu at his best when he was unbeaten and confident getting Tko'd by Verno Phillips????
