    ***Who Is The Best Trainer***

Who in your opinion has been the best trainer in Boxing? Based on Pupils and Teaching Techniques (reflected by boxers). Who has contributed knowledgable fighters to this sport that have made boxing what it is today?

I personally have a tie, with Emanuel Steward and Nacho Bernstain, followed by Angelo Dundee. I think those 3 in any order would be fine though...

Name your pick or make a short list.

there are great trainers but it would also depend on who's the fighter. manny steward is a great trainer he trained a lot of champion but look at what happened to taylor when he fought pavlik. pavlik's trainer was an unknown but they defeated taylor. same thing with the mayweathers they only have 1 fighter but he is very skilled other than that who they got? same thing with pacquiao and roach's realtionship.

all-time trainers: angelo dundee and eddie futch

current trainers: buddy mcgirt and freddie roach

emmanuel steward is overrated to me and i would ktfo in between rounds daddy floyd or uncle roger if they were my trainers. they might know their stuff but i can't respect people that have their vocabulary.

yeah... but like Steward has trained a lot of greats like, Lewis,Whitaker, Arguello,Pryor, JCC, Hamed, Holyfield, just to name a few....
I'm talking about reknowned trainers, like if a trainer would not have been.... then a lot of quality fighters would not have been around.

Roach is doing great judging by how Pac has molded into a all around great fighter, but Roach lacks pupils to say he is the best. For example Look at most of nacho's pupils.... their technique is almost identical. that's a reflection of the training they have gone through.

I wouldn't even be able to understand them.LOL sometimes Roach gets stuck too, I think Roach will be close to retirement in about 6 or 7 years.

Roach--Turned Pacquiao into the #1 P4P fighter and resurrected James Toney.

steward had a lot of fighters but he didn't really make them.

lewis? wlad? he made them more boring imo.

cintron? he gave that kid a messed up game plan to fight antonio.

hamed? his unpredictability made him great. when emmanuel tried to turn him more conventional it hurt naseem.

roach doesn't have the best fighters but he would be my personal choice as a trainer. him and mcgirt right now.
