If Abraham openly admitted he is not ready for Joe Calzaghe..

..And many people believe he would beat Kelly Pavlik, how is Kelly ready for him?

Is it because he's a fat yank?

A lot of people; most who have followed Abraham's career.

This is a good question actually, this is the only match at 160 that i am interested in seeing, this is the battle between the two best at that weight and a match that should be made. Im pretty sick of seeing questions posed saying that Pavlik is this and Pavlik is that he hasnt proved it in his own division yet. I have no doubt that he is going to be very good but to me he has to prove it at his own weight first he has looked a very raw talent to me against Miranda and Taylor all good victorys that could of quite easily been losses. I think Abraham will be a true test that will show us how good Pavlik is.

I think Taylor is better Abraham. I like Abraham, but he gets to much credit for disposing a fighter he had already disposed of.

Abraham vs. Pavlik is not a boxing match, it will be more of a slug fest. Abraham is economical but doesn't work as much

Calzaghe vs. Pavlik is boxing, entirely different style of match.

Abraham goes from a defensive shell and explodes with hard long round punches.

Calzaghe is a good solid all around boxer with speed and power he avoids using. Calzaghe is the harder fight, but I would say Abraham is the more dangerous fighter.

Cal is probably a bit smarter, and makes adjustments better due to experience, for a young Pavlik that is a bit more difficult. Abraham is just a hard puncher who doesn't use his boxing ability as often as he should.

Pavlik is a better technical fighter than Abraham from what I have seen, but Cal is more technical then Pavlik. Pavlik's jab, work rate, and power are the variables, how will Cal nullify the jab, work rate, and power. I am by no means saying he can't I think those are the three things he will have to deal with.

This is apples and oranges, I would say Pavlik is more ready for Cal then Abraham. I think either has a chance at Cal because of power.
