Who the **** cares about mandatories? Abraham just went up to 166 to fight Miranda with no title on the line. I think he'd much sooner drop his trinket to fight Pavlik than take on some nobody in a title defence.

Thanks for posting something that makes sense sir. These calzaghe ball-biters are gettin on my nerves thinking that Jones will be an easy fight. That was funny stuff. I love me some UK humor. Tell ya what, I'll tell ya what. I got 5k on Jones over Calzaghe for ya. I'll have about 20k by the time the fight rounds out. I'm even more confident now that Joe is not so sure of himself of winning. That's the first sign of his definitive first loss. At least he will have Pavlik to fight after.

I hope the fight does happen. If the fight is Joes last, he should demand Pavlik fight him in Wales.

Joe is the Man and Pavlik, although a champion himself, is the challenger and Joe should be able to set the rules.

I just don't want Pavlik to get too comfy cozy and think that everyone should come to him. Real Champs will travel once in a while, just like Joe has done recently.

A fight in Wales would be a great atmosphere with a huge crowd. I also have a feeling that British fans for the most part like how he is as a person and fighter. It will only serve to build his own profile win or lose.

Fair enough, but key words..."RECENTLY".... But I agree if he does face the Ghost.. It should be under Joes terms.. he does deserve that, I will give him that... But then again we will see just how much of a say he will have after the Jones Jr fight... either way you are right, as of NOW, Pav should go to him and go to him with a 60-40 split... joe should/would get more.... Pav's still a baby in the sport and doesn't deserve more money than Joe no matter how many belts Pav has.
