Mayorga is probably too big for me, but whats the worse that can happen, other than death and maiming?

Well to mention it seems disrespectful to me, these men have put in thousands of hours in the sport and you say things like that. I understand the hypothetical etc. I have been watching boxing my whole life, I have short fast straight hard punches(I knocked a guy down playing arms). I can throw around 4 punches in a second. All of this and I don't think I can take a fighter 50 pounds lighter. I find it to be very disrespectful, there are a lot of jokes out there, but these men train for battle.

I am sorry for taking the question a bit seriously, but like I said, I could KO a lot of men and I find it very disrespectful to say anything regarding a pro fighter being beaten by some "computer jock".

I love threads like this... and no disrespect guys but... you have to understand that unless you are a boxer and have been taught to properly throw punches you likely wouldnt be able to KO any real live pro boxer...its "possible" I suppose but the thing is that I and every pro boxer on here have seen the scenario unfold countless times where a football player, street fighter, wrestler, or just the average run of the mill tough guys come in and wants to box... he feels he has power etc...he gets in with someone he outweighs by forty pounds but, still, it as if his power is equal to that of a ten year old. The main reason is because under the stress of organized boxing the guy with no training will quickly find that his balance, his technique etc etc etc etc. are just not nearly as up to par as he thought they would be. You take the toughest, baddest, menest, roughest 160 pound NON-Boxer that you know and bring him to a gym and put him in the ring with a 160 pound pro and, literally, it would totally hopeless for the non boxer. I see that OFTEN. As a matter of fact I saw a current 275 pound linemen for Penn. State box in my gym with a 168 pound novice with no fights under his belt and despite the more than 100 pound weight advantage etc etc... he couldnt hurt the smaller man and, literally, was left on the canvas like a sack of potatoes a few seconds into the second round.

You should've given him a dose of his own medicine and stuck your chin out to him. lol

That's cool man, do you have an online album with pictures you've taken with boxers?

PS...I had a 132 pound amateur who used to spar with grown men who weighed 220 pounds on several occassions and even though they landed a punch here and there on him he literally laughed out loud at them while they boxed (and before he smashed them).

The only pro boxer I know I can beat is John Scully. Everyone else would smash me.
