Did Goosen say anything about the scales being off? Rah's conditiong coach says both fighters were 6 pounds lighter on a different scale. Here's what he had to say on another forum...


"Rahman 244 Toney 226 Although there did appear to be a problem with the scales. Both weighed in 6 pounds lighter on another scale. But official weights were R 244 T 226"

I'm passing on this fight as far as ********. Toney is definitely the better fighter, but he has very high mileage and will turn 40 next month. People will be impressed with his weight, but he weighed about the same when he looked like **** winning a split decision over some clubfighter in his last fight. I'm just going to enjoy the fight and make observations. BTW, I definitely thought Rock won their first fight.

Yeah I agree, that last guy Batchelder used his legs, James never looks good against fighters he has to find in the ring. He looks best standing toe to toe IMO. I only saw a couple minutes of the last fight and Toney got frustrated when he had to come forward, he tries to play mind games alot before fights telling the other guy to not run but stand and fight and that is why, he doesnt look as good coming forward, not to mention it takes more out of him.
