I'm sure the tears must have ran like the blood from Vitali's face when he lost to Lennox Lewis.

The drops must have fallen faster than Klitschko did to Corrie Sanders.

My love of boxing is too clinical to make me cry, I guess. I'm no tough guy, so I don't mean to make that claim, but I'm a fan of the fight game, not of particular fighters. Sure, there are some I like more than others, but there isn't huge passion behind any one fighter. I never really care who wins in terms of emotional value, just that the quality of the fight be high.

I did tear up after Chico died though. Man, that was sad day.

i can get emotional at fights. boxing is one of the truest tests of a mans character and can be on such a grand scale that all the emotions are magnified. it can get to me when two men have put it all on the line and ill get tears in my eyes. i dont bawl, and i dont cry because my favorite fighter loses- i just get stunned and kinda down (i.e. Roy Jones Kos and B-Hop losing to Zag and JT)...

off the top of my head, i teared up at castillo-corales I just because it was so beautiful, Ali-Frazier (that fight was about so much more than boxing) and Pac-Morales after the initial excitement of the knockdown when Morales gave that look of submission a broken man and nodded off the count.... i know there's gotta be more fights than that that have gotten to me though....

if i was old enough to have seen the holmes-ali fight live......

don't know if i would've cried but pretty damn close.

even watching it on video and already knowing the outcome was sad.

yup- thats another one for me. when holmes is yelling at the ref to stop it and than is just battering ali. then when they finally throw in the towel. thats almost too sad to watch...

I shed a few tears when Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Ricky Hatton. I thought the knockout win was a beautiful thing to watch. Not because I like seeing guys get knocked out, but because everyone was saying before the fight that Hatton was going to KO Floyd, but never the other way around. I expected Floyd to win a tough decision and instead he went out and KO'd Hatton. I also got pretty down when Pac knocked out Erik Morales in 3. Morales is my favorite fighter of all time and to see him go out like that was hard.

I get furious when I think about how Marquez was robbed in his second fight with Pacquiao. Well maybe robbery is going too far, but Marquez deserved the win. And I also get angry when I saw what happened to Meldrick Taylor against JCC.
