yes it would , if he uses it.

cotto's gameplan is to box but i guarantee you at some point all the boxing will go out the window.

he'll get popped and will try to retaliate and it'll turn into a toe to toe affair.

it's one thing for him to box another boxer or pop shot a less skilled fighter but when some guy challenges him , he'll push back. it's in his nature and it'll cost him a L in this fight.

Margarito is not an overhyped , mental midget super lightweight......

Margarito is not a former boxer on a reality tv show......

What Margarito is......is one tough , big natural welterweight who can take a punch and will keep going forward........

Cotto will get his first L.
I like this man, one of the most unbiased, smartest, coolest mother ****ing Pinoys on the boxing scene, I salute you 'pare.

It's pretty much a toss up between Tony and Cotto right now, Cotto having the slight edge because of his better "resume", but once Tony beats Cotto on the 26th he should be crowned the best Welterweight in the world.

if cotto boxes , he'll win a decision.

if cotto tries to go toe to toe , he'll get worn down and tko'd in the later rounds.

i think cotto will get drawn into slugging it out , hence why i pick marg to win.
