I agree with what you said about Haye and go on to say that Wlad is a ****-blower.

Don't see him much round the area now as he is pretty much living out in Cyprus full time and i moved out to Surrey but i'll be fine for tickets anyways.

The money thing with Mormeck and Enzo Macc is what i've heard from people that know him very personally(friends and family) and he took whatever he could get from Mormeck so he could get a shot at the titles, as for the Enzo Macc fight, Enzo was a Frank Warren fighter so i'll let you paint the picture on that one.
It's cool he's chatty with ppl and stuff, and definitely feel you on the whole lost sense of community in much of London, used to the commute to Kings X, Camden and Islington, christ some folk are moody.

Respectable Haye took less money then he'd have deserved on some fights, what the sport needs. Froch seems like that aswell to be honest so it's not all bad. To be fair they seem to have more passion for carrying on in the sport no matter, than Hatton or Calzaghe.

Haye was fairly underrated before the Mac fight in hindsight. He's kind of been in a weird place in going upto HW, then back down to unify CW, now back up again. He kinda exploded into the media after that fight and now is on a slow ladder up again so still isn't actually talked of much. He's gona be around and mixing it up no matter what for a few years to come which is cool.

You realise this is a boxing forum right?

Perhaps TennisScene.com and AmericanFootballScene.com would be worthy visits.

That's one of the biggest problems in this sport is 'Money'.

Fighters who want a shot at the title need to bring money to the table in order to get the champ interested.

Hatton has turned into a 'Money hore' and won't give any unknowns or lesser names a shot, when it looks like a potentially dangerous opponent Ricky says ''He's only looking to land a big payday.'' Same thing with Calzaghe, Froch rings him up and asks him for a shot and Calzaghe says ''You're only looking for a payday'' when IMO Froch wasn't and just wants a shot at the titles.

                    Oh well.

Haye's resume is not much better than Tye Fields'. I wonder why Tye isn't asking for a title shot. Haye has fought 20 clubfighters, one 35 year old inactive contender and one glass jawed journeyman. Despite that weak competition, he managed to get dropped by 3 different guys. One 40 year old dropped him and stopped him. But he's going to KO the best HW in the world because Wlad has a "glass" jaw. And that jaw is so glass because he kicked the hell out of Puritty for 10 rounds till he couldn't lift his gloves, fell from exhaustion while backing away from a punch, got brutally headbutting in the jaw twice by Sanders leading to some knockdowns and got thrown down by the ref after the bell in a fight where he had been kicking the hell out of Brewster and even though he beat the count, was stopped in between rounds.

Haye is not a southpaw, Wlad would make him look silly. If a glancing shot from a current SMW floored Haye, imagine what a Wlad jab would do to him.
