While Mosley-Mayorga on PPV is, in fact, an incredible joke...

There is a great chance that at least half of the Showtime doubleheader doesn't come off...with Vitali being 'scheduled' and all...and that being the case, along with HBO's stubborness, nothing will change their plans.

    Sadly.

Seriously, what co-feature can even BEGIN to make PPV make ANY kind of sense? They should have made Casa-JMM for the co-feature and they'd save themselves from two PPV punchline events.

^^^^^^^ that would be the best possible scenario we could hope for, but HBO wont even think about it. ****in ****s. why does their production have to be so good?

I like a SSM-Mayo fight, but not on ****in PPV. I'm against the 2 networks doin shows on the same night too, but HBO deserves to get spanked for this one.

I have a bad political behind the scenes feeling... that in the end... in a mysterious way... the Mosley-Mayorga PPV is going to get more or the same buys as the Cotto-Margarito PPV... this would be a big FU...

Mosley is way overrated IMO... always was... he's above average in every category of boxing but in none of them great... and that was he is... above average... he also IMO has no clue of boxing patterns and rhythms... in every rematch he ever fought, he always looked worse then the first time, even though he won his rematch with De La Hoya. Mosley had one way to fight and that's it. Great champions adapt, and use another great tool they got to beat their oppoenent the second time around clear. Shane Mosley is simply above average and that's all... the PPV against Mayorga is a joke. Why fight Mayorga. Is your confidence shaking??? wtf!!!

Talk about Tarver... Roy Jones fans doesn't react bad in a way cuz Tarver beat Jones twice... but react bad if somebody wants to mention Tarvers name in same sentence as Roy Jones name. That's a joke. Yes, he beat Roy twice... but that doesn't mean he is on his level or whatever. Ali lost against Trevor Berbick in his last fight... and is he as good as Ali. Tarver had a good timing and Roy was at the tail end of his career. Yes, Tarver made him realise that... but still... that doesn't mean that Tarver is on his level. And I think ppl also react kind of funny to Tarver is not because of his mouth. It's more about his background. As an 28 yr old he beat up kids at the olympics... and was about a maybe a 2 yr pro as Roy was in his prime. Both have the same age. So I guess there's a lot difference between the two of them. Tarver is still a good pro and has an understanding of boxing... he for example is one of the guys who is not even above average talented in every aspect of the game... but has boxing smarts and can win rematches with ease... not like other overrated boxers *lol*
