Basically i began reading repeaded reports in 2005 around january that kermit cintron was sending sparring partners home with broken ribs and just killing people, what ended up happening is him getting folded by margarito in the process, i hear all this stuff about sparring partners getting abused, or someone getting abused by a sparring partner and while its exciting, rarely does it translate into what happens on fight night, which is why i just kind of shy away from these types of press releases.

I keep fkg telling people Cintron is not on the same level as Cotto.He has a one punch arsenal .Cotto on the other hand has many more weapons!

Why are people so high on Margarito? because he beat Cintron twice? He's not undefeated, he got whupped by Williams. Margarito fans are acting like he's all that. He's not. He reminds me of Ferdando Vargas.. who Mexican fans adored for his fighting spirit but he never reached the highest heights. Margarito came up short against his only TOP welterweight (Williams) and he's going to come up short against Cotto.

All of Mayweather's qualities translate to cosmetic entertainment.

All of Cotto's qualities translate to entertained fight fans, and boxing greatness.

Even if Cotto gets an "L" on his record somewhere, he will be higher rated on the all-time lists than Mayweather because he was willing to fight the best, and defend his crown within the division. Mayweather was never even the top Welterweight.

I'm rooting for Cotto to beat Margarito, but it will not be easy. I think Margs brings a lot of pain early, but Cotto slowly begins to take over the fight in the middle rounds until putting it away late, or winning a comfortable UD.
