clottey was killing tony with left hooks before he hurt his hand. cotto's left hooks are deadly and tony drops his hands right before he's gonna punch and leans over when he starts to get aggressive. cotto always has a plan for who he's fighting he'll be to much for tony. Hope tony don't come for a fight cause cotto comes for war. So after this fight cotto brutally sends de la into retirement dec 6th. then we get to se money may and cotto and whoever wins is truly great until then neither are. and we all win as fans.

hell yeah man the best indicator of how well a guy will perform come fight night is his form in sparring, especially close to the fight. cotto wont lose this one

Sparring partners get paid to do what they do...so its not like Cotto's starching these cats for GP! Plus these dudes are MW's....no sympathy here! keep breakin their big asses down Cotto.....I still got Tony winning this one, but I aint puttin no points or REAL money on this!

When sparring if they see one or the other getting hurt they stop or replace the partner. I would be more than happy to spar with Cotto if I was near that level. Do you think these guys don't take well that experience? In a way, they want cotto to perform like that to see how they do. Also, those guys concentrate on a specific area so therefor u will get either a guy much bigger than u(like in this case) or u will get smaller guys to be much faster and harder to hit...

I'm glad to see Cotto feels his ready and it appears that he has improved as well in his boxing technique...Cotto ALL THE WAY!!!

I would like to see something from the Margo side. I know he's always ready, he has great condition and takes very good care of his body but it would be great to hear something besides just saying he's going to knock him out...

I remember in 2005 when Kermit Cintron was breaking ribs and murdering people in sparring, it was at this point, i no longer cared about what happens during sparring, winning or losing.

Sparring is the best part of boxing. I'm doing it today with a guy at my same level and we can't wait.
