By Cliff Rold - Is this the worst week of Boxing on the 2008 calendar? Probably not. After all, there will be weeks in the fall without two ESPN cards a week along with the lack of HBO and Showtime excitement. Still, if a Boxing fan was ever going to take a vacation from their fandom, this would probably be the week. After all, two weeks from now, all the buzz will be on a classic Mexico-Puerto Rico explosion that kicks off the next run of strong showings in the sport. Some of the best in the World at Lightweight, Jr. Bantamweight and Light Heavyweight will be on display beginning the last week of July. Little of that is on tap until then. [details]
