Even though i wouldn't mind a soto/pac matchup, i'd much rather see valero/pac. I'd give soto a 40% chance of beating pac but no way would pac steamroll him like he did diaz, soto it too much of a stud. Valero/pac is a dream matchup! Nothing but fireworks! IMO, valero's power>pac's, pac's speed>valero's, they're about even in the stamina and heart dept's. Pac's advantage would be big-stage experience. To me, it's a pick'em fight.
I think Arum knew it was too much of a risk going w/ valero so he's opting for the safer fight. Barrera makes no sense: in the post-fight press conf after his fight w/ pac, he gave his vote to valero to dethrone pac now he's doubting him??? Barrera needs to shut his trap!

he's talking to pac because they're talking about doing business together.

marco probably gets along better with manny than with juan manuel and erik.

pac has a few fighters in philippines and barrera has a stable as well in mexico.

those 2 together promoting fights in mexico and philippines would make some good money.

Pac should take anotha fight while he's waitin for the other LW champs to do business. Props to him for bein willin to take on tough guys after he had such an easy time against Diaz. And good for MAB for givin him props and not bein bitter about the 2 fights he lost.

marquez, hatton, are good match for pac but not valero or guzman. valero, while having good records is not medically fit to fight the best lightweight today while guzman is unfit to fight pac because he is a girlie.

guzman may be a good contender for "Dance With The Stars", like ugly boy floyd.
