Toney was one of the better fighters of his era. Its a shame we couldnt get 100% all the time. I will miss him when he is retired!

If someone can get me that sparring vid, I'd give up all my points.

i wish he could have stayed at cruiserweight.

but straight up- i want to see toney and david haye. that fight would sort some things out in my opinion.

if he's in shape- james has rahman no problem.

you have to understand injuries happen son........he prolly had some type of issue but he'll be ready for rahman beause its alot on the line ....so the rock will pay dearly, hes a big goofy in the ring too.

I say he comes in at 230-232 pounds. But if he really looks the best since 5 years he will beat Rahman! But talk is cheap in boxing, we will see in the ring what happens.

I know injuries happen, they mentioned injuries stretching from the Rahman fight to the second Peter fight, they don't mention anything about his last fight which he barely won.

                    I saw the sparring video...
you need to be a subcriber, so I won't post it.

                    My Summary:
Toney was busy and was trying his best to move and throw combinations. He got the better of both sparring partners.

He is definitely not the toney vs holyfield...age has caught up with him a little, but he looked good considering his age.

                    His body is still soft...no 6 pack...don't expect much of a weight difference...still 225+.

He is interviewed in it a bit...and speaks candidly about himself getting off track since holyfield fight.

Overall as a Toney fan..I'm pleased.

Realistically his best days are well behind him, but his attitude seems great, and his reflexes are there...just a little overweight and touch slower.

I believe he will beat Rahman, by decision, 9 to 3.

Toney in prime (for example the toney who disected Iran Barkley) could have beaten near enough anybody.

Hes a truely great fighter, toney is my all time favorite boxer, i copy/study his style massively, i would love to see him win a title at heavy, he deserves the recignition, but if hes past it, he should retire, it would kill me to see him get hurt.

but i still feel hes got enough left, Toney UD!
