Toney should have gotten that W against Peter

I'm watching the first fight again on Youtube. Through the first 6 rounds I have it 4-2 for Toney, who was landing the jab and precise counter punches all fight. Peter would steal rounds with big punches but that's it. I just cant see Peter winning this fight.

    How'd you score it?

I fail to see where he got his ass kickd in the first fight lol, and he didnt get a gift draw either, he lost. He was rocked a couple of times, and that should happen if you're a former Middleweight going toe to toe with one of the most feared punchers in the division. He also busted Peter's face up with flush jab after flush jab.

If you're talking about the Rahman fight then I tend to agree, although I havent seen that since it aired live. I'm pretty sure I had it 116-112 for Rock back then. James was a mess that fight though. Physically I mean.

I thought Toney clearly won it like 8-4 or something

Plus Peter got a point deduction for trying to bust Toney's eardrums

I scored the Rahman fight two days ago and had it 115-113 Rock. I gave Toney a close round 4 in that fight and still had him losing

the rahman and the 2 peter fights he lost.. i was pulling for toney alot in the peter fights but i thought he lost both and the scores were closer than they shouldve.. i mean u can score jabs but if u land 3 jabs and get rocked by a heavy right hand who wins

There's no way Toney lost the 1st. He outlanded peter like crazy in the 1st fight and was never rocked throughout the whole fight. Toney clearly lost the 2nd tho. He looked really slow and lethargic that fight.

You're basically saying that Peter should have won 8-9 rounds then, and I just cant agree with that. 6 is the most I can see him winning, and that'd still be a loss with the point deduction.

I can buy the fight being close. A fight can be close and still clear cut. With the point deduction it should have been.

The rematch was a one sided beating. I knew it would be going in.
