I will be rooting for Dawson and I think he should win but you can never count out Tarver he is a pretty cunning fox.

The winner of this fight is easily the best light heavyweight in the world. If either guy wins, then it should boost them to the number one spot becuase both are champions and both are ranked in the top 5. I like Calzaghe, but the only name that he has beaten was Bernard Hopkins and thats not fair for him to ranked at number one over guys that have done more in the division and beaten the better guys there.

Good prediction and many people agree with you on this forum. Dawson didn't look very good in his last fight against Johnson. I personally favor Dawson becuase Tarver is not a pressure fighter and Dawson usually does well in technical boxing matches. A good fight either way.

Dawson will probably win a UD, he won't risk it and try to go for a knockout but he has what it takes to win. Also, Tarver has had a string of terribly lazy outings of late.
