    America only cares about Heavyweights

They even pay attention to Wladimir Klitchsko. I've seen the fight against Thompson reported on every ESPN network. Like actual coverage, not just a blip.

On sportscenter they reported it. Pardon the interuption had this on it:

"Wladimir Klitchsko knocks out Tony Thompson. Impressive???" (Walburn)
"Eh. It wasn't Ali-Frazier" (not the typical other guy. Some older guy)

ESPN also reported that Ruslan Chagev pulled out against Valuev. Holyfield against Imbragimov etc.

Sometimes, some other things are reported like Mayweather, Jones, DLH, Calzaghe, and even Sugar Shane Mosley. Still, only ESPN really cares about the Heavyweights.

Even without a big American heavyweight, if GBP promotes it right...I think Haye vs Wlad could get some good coverage in America. Put a 24/7 with it and boom. You have some hype.

Americans don't care about good heavyweights that aren't American.
And there ain't much to choose, so they don't care.
They care about DeLaHoya though. They prove that time and again no matter if he loses or beats up a little guy.
