Cotto will fight Oscar in December pending his victory on July 26th. After that i'm sure he'll fight the top guys in WW. Paul IMO isn't this big threat that everyone makes him out to be.

i don't know.who knows who called for the fight,maybe paul heard about the prospect and saw bigger dollars at middle.duran went from lightweight to welter for a fight with ray leonard so it really isn't a big deal.

You say this like WW Cotto is a bigger threat than MW Pavlik? The fight doesn't make sense, thats why its ****ing great. You don't have a bunch of slinky *** promoters milking their fighters with boring match-ups. This is something we should really appreciate--a boxer stepping up to the ****ing plate hoping to beat the guts of a guy he has no business facing just because.
