for quite sometime. yet they never faced bhop, winky, taylor, etc......, and the have been strap holders alot longer than Pavlik, but people claim Pavlik had to fight them, or he is ducking them etc....especially Abraham. I agree and want these fights to happen, but the fact is that these guys are the ones who have not fought the elite in the mw div. for years now(long b4 pavlik was a top guy) so i feel it is unfair to run out the mouth about pavlik, and taking a blind eye on the other, longer reigning strap holders.

I know Sturm's rejected his fair share of fights, but Abraham wanted to fight Winky as a prelude to a Pavlik showdown. Wink turned down the fight, as his preference was to go straight to Pavlik, though its not quite working out for him.

Abraham-Sturm would be an ideal box-off, with the winner fighting Pavlik, if it's believed that either one has to earn a shot at the linear middleweight title. I dont know how big of a fight it would be in Germany, as in is it big enough for Sauerland and Universum to willingly work together (as opposed to one going to the other only when it's a mandatory title defense)

i agree. still though, bhop had the belts, and than taylor, yet neither german face them! i just don't see how you can blame the new champ when these guys have had a chance for years to make fights for the straps.

Abraham and Sturm are at no fault for who they are not facing. Money talks here in America. Nobody wants to go to Germany to fight those guys, and if they fight those guys here, the American fighters won't make any money either. JT is a super middle now so he is out of the picture. AA-Pav has great potential. AA said Pav's name, and we haven't heard from him since. Now Pav is fighting Williams for Arum to do him a favor so that Cotto if he wins can be the man at 147. floyd will take care of that problem lol. Pav could've told AA, lets make the fight, forget your mandatory. I know I'm wishing that a lot of thing happen in a short time lol, but I can wish lol.

Sturm was ko'd by an old man and got revenge. He is overrated. He is not a factor when compared to AA and Pav.
