    Best name on Wlad's resume?

Who's his biggest win to date?

I say it's Samuel Peter or Sultan Ibragimov.

Probably two time HW champ Chris Byrd X 2.

A Calzaghe fan poking fun at Wlad's resume? Oh, the irony.

The first Byrd win is his best. That was the take note performance that announced him as a potential force.

The following were in the Ring top ten when Wlad defeated them:

          Ibragimov
Barrett (he was highly regarded at the time)
          Mercer
          McCline
          Byrd x 2
          Brewster
          Peter
          Thompson
          Brock

and probably a couple of others. Byrd was Ring #1 at the time of the second fight.

Then why isn't Wlad the Ring champion? If he beat the #1 then he should be the #1 guy.

He should be, I agree! Especially since he's already defeated Peter too.

                  But the championship goes to:

                  1) whoever defeats the current champion (not #1 contender)
                  2) if it's vacant, the #1 has to defeat the #2 or vice versa, as in the case of JM Marquez vs. Pacquiao recently. Wlad was not #2 when he defeated Byrd.
