he seems to be very proud of winning a heavyweight belt but it probably contributed to his downfall.

No I don't. Without the Heavyweight title, his career would have been unforfilled.

i and he regrets that he moved back down to light heavy.

the greatest trick magic man ever performed was convincing the boxing world that he was an elite fighter.

The truth is that Jones was getting old by the time he came back down from HW anyway, and might very well have lost before too long, weight drain or not. He had already done most of what he was going to do in his career and the HW title was a nice way to finish it. Its probably better than if those losses at LHW had been wins.

he doesnt regret anything... the move to HW, was historic...

he also doesnt regret moving back down to LHW... bob fitsimmons moved up to heavyweight, and then back down to LHW...

if roy didnt move back down to LHW... he wouldnt of fulfilled everything he set out to do... and thats match what bob fitsimmons did 106 yrs ago. - his words

if roy had retired after 160 and 168 and never fought at 175 or heavy , he would have still been a level above calzaghe.
