Lewis was very close to over the hill when he retired, struggling badly with Vitali before the cut stoppage. If he came back and fought Wlad he would lose a decision, probably quite one sidedly. Its not just a matter of training, age is age and it can't be escaped.

I'd put money on Wlad right now. Lewis is an old man. He'd have a punchers chance, but he'd be a step or two slow.

A few years ago Lewis would have blasted Wlad into the next life.

If Lennox Lewis wants people to respect him, he should stay retired he isn’t going to beat Wladimir now. I would say Wladimir by UD. Soon we will hear Tyson will comeback

Good post. I don't know why people think a fighter can just start training after a 5 year layoff and come back and win a title. Wlad may not be the greatest champion but he has more than enough to beat an old Lewis.

Voted for Lewis. Now, if you make a Lewis/ VITALI thread, I would vote Vitali KTFO Lewis inside 3 rounds.

wlad does not have vitali's chin or toughness.

if wlad was timid against sultan ibragimov how much more timid would he be against someone lennox's size power?

tyson-holyfield 3 is in the works.

holyfield has to wear a padded headband and mike has to wear a muzzle though.......
