Im not buying Cottos chin improved at 147

I think it was average at 140, and average now. Mosley hasnt ko'd anyone since 01! with the exception of a shot fat Vargas. Quittertana cant break an egg, a Judah who havent fought in a year and 2 months stunned him(but couldnt hurt 2 bums after the cotto fight), and Cotto hit him in the nuts{dont know if it was on purpose or not, but it happened} being arguably the best body puncher in boxing, that can kinda hurt u dont u think? Urkal? Gomez? yea his chin was really tested there. I think he will be hurt again in 2 weeks. He has an average chin, nothing more or less. I think he improved as a boxer since those fights but his chin remains.

but weight drain or not , he got rocked at 140 it's not crazy to assume he can get rocked at 147.

I'll even go so far as to say Cotto has a very good chin. He has not been staggered at his run at 147 so far despite facing the best fighters that are there. Judah, Mosley and Quintana all are very good punchers and they hit him with their best stuff, didn't do much. Judah punches harder Margarito and is faster as well. Cotto has two ways of winning the fight. He has the ability to box and make the fight easier, or he can exchange and give the fans their money's worth. Either way i can't see him losing right now, its just his time to shine right now.

I personally think that his chin being that bad at 140 becuase of the weight drain. Think about it, do you really believe that Corely is a better boxer or even punches harder than Judah or even Quintana? Who are also southpaws with good power?

Cotto's chin has improved a bit. As a Puerto Rican, it may get wobbled again but I am sure he will be able to deal with it. I don't think anyone who hasn't 'retired' will KO him.
