i think it's outstanding as well but people feel he only fights old fighters.

i don't agree. it's not his fault that barrera , marquez and morales were the biggest names out there. it's not his fault those guys were born a few years before him as well. they were the big payday fights , old or not , it's what the fans wanted to pay for to see.

to me , a great fighter is a great fighter. whether they were old or not a win is a win. eventually some young guy is gonna get his name off of beating an old pacquiao as well. boxing feeds the old to their young , i saw i think scott9945 post that once , and i agree with that assessment.

Cool I see where you are coming from and I see you arent necessarily the one saying he doesnt have a great resume or whatever but it would be a pretty hard argument for anyone to say he doesnt have a great resume.

Regardless of whether they were slighly older or not they were the best fighters in the division at the time and all had enough left in them to put up great fight(sans Barerra the 1st time....and actually the second HA!). Barrera was totally supposed to beat him the first time, morales did, and Marquez, well we all know. If anyone was says he doesnt have a great resume then they are downplaying ALL those great fighters.

Why do you hate on Kelly Pavlik for? He not technicality a great fighter but is exciting.

1. Zab Judah He has had far too many big fights with no big victory. Mr. Potential that never panned out.

2. Antonio Tarver He actually thinks he is great. The only victory he had was against a depleted Heavyweight Roy Jones. Big mouth that doesn't fight often.

3. Kendal Holt/Sergio Mora/Winky Wright/Bernard Hopkins/John Ruiz...... A 5 way tie for the Bronze Medal of dislike.
