Watched the last 6 or 7 Joe fights actually, hes the guy who got me to love Boxing

I have absolutely no problem with British fighters and I think Joe Calzaghe is a top level elite fighter and p4p one of the best going around at the moment.

How can you be a Boxing fan and not a Calzaghe fan? Unless of course you havnt seen him in his past 7 fights. Hes fought the best out there in Lacy and Kessler at SMW (Although he didnt fight Froch), and hes beaten Hopkins for the Ring LHW title... Hes truly an attraction to the sport and is pure boxing quality!!!

I also think Pacquiao is amazing and would love to see him fight Velero Kahn and the Big Fight with Hatton will be immense!

RJJ is obviously a tougher fight than Hopkins, as hopkins is a fight spoiler and can make any fighter look bad with his dirty boring tactics, however he never posed a real threat to Calzaghe apart from the odd lucky punch, but Calzaghe had won it b4 it begun... However RJJ was a true great, and if he trains hard enough for his boxing sendoff could produce an amazing performance, however Calzaghe will still destroy him, prob by TKO as his chim is gone

I will admit I am not a hige Joe fan. It is probably more a product of not particularly enjoying the SMW division in recent years more than Joe himself. Having said that I was very impressed with the Kessler fight and I thought he fought a tremendous fight and deserves a tonne of credit. I agree he is one of the best fighters in the world at the moment.

Hatton - not really a fan of more due to his style than anything else. He is a messy inside fighter and those guys just don't appeal to me. I prefer fighters like Leonard, Hearns, Roy Jones and Floyd Mayweather. I will admit that Hatton's achievements at 140 are top notch and he probably will beat Pacman if they fight, purely based on the size difference.

I disagree with you that Joe stops Roy. I see no KO power in Joe's punches anymore and I heavily doubt that, even given Roy's chin, he will be able to hit Roy with enough power shots to stop him. Having said that, if I had to choose an outcome and my life was on it I would probably go with Joe in a relatively close UD.

Calzaghe is a Legend, hes had a good career so far (with lots of americans ducking him along the way), and destroying those americans who ducked him all those years away and gettig bigger paydays than ever before is a good wy to end his unblemished carrer!
