These back and forth arguments are silly. I didn't know you had to embrace a fighter because he resembles your own cultural identity. A white guy is supposed to embrace other white fighters? Really? And if he doesn't he somehow hates himself? A bit of a supremacist and puritanical view of race. Either way respect these fighters talents, hearts, courage and warrior mentality not there racial makeup.

imagine what a wlad right hand or left hook will do to hayes chin, cruiserweigh is not heavyweigh, the power punchin wont do ****. His chin will fall apart

he's more skilled that peter for sure, but i think peter is rough enough to get vitali huffing and puffing- which could lead to a KO.

vitali could possibly knock peter out with some barrett roundhouse punches- i think peter goes down easier when he takes big ones to the side of his head. we all saw him eat wlad's straights all night long- his head was like iron man.
but when barrett got him with those wide shots he was all over the place. i think it's more of an equilibrium thing to get peter to eat the canvas- rather than just pure power straight into his grill.
i think u talking bout Mccline not Barrett

I agree with one thing coming out of the Peter camp. If Vitali can't make it out of training camp he needs to get out of the way and call off this come back.

This thread degenerates as soon as people become PERSONAL, and SUBJECTIVE

Racism from fight fans who have neither met nor know the fighters is as ****** as trying to eat your dinner whilst standing on your hands. Some of you guys are very good posters, but the majority, say 96%, in MY opinion, [for what it's worth, which may be nothing,] know damn all about boxing, certainly the finer points, which only an intelligent, "steeped in the genre" guy can appreciate. Why get sidetracked when you really want to talk boxing? You can go down to a pub and have a fight any time, but you can only talk boxing with gfuys who also want to.................

Nobody has said anything yet about the most GLARING nonsense right under our noses. I refer to the ARTICLE which heads this thread. Take MY word for it, it's mostly lies and distorions, being a PR piece of crap churned out by the DUVA guys, and well up to their usual lousy standard. I believe it is (or was) written by a guy who calls himself the BOXING BUZZ or an equally ridiculous title. Any time I disputed his obviously fictitious claims, he would endlessly reply with insults and offensive terms. So lets see it as it is. BUMPH !!

Peter "growls". This is to show how tough and aggressive he is, like a bear in a cage waiting to spring at poor little Klitschko and tear him to pieces. He may actually do this, not by his rather poor, prelim fighter skills, but only if Klitschko faints and falls down, with Peter throwing himself on top, chewing away. ALL of Samuel's earlier "conquests" by whom he made his "ferocious" KO reputation, did almost that. They were garnered from "Homes for Washed Up Fighters", and carefully led down to the ring, and then propped against the ropes until Samuel came along, swung at them a few times, to show he was a "boxer" and then turned them around, and smashed them on the napes of their necks. A definite foul, deserving DQ, but for some "unknown" reason he got away with it. He did the same in the Wladimir Kllitschko fight, which he deludes himself was a very close loss, instead of what it was, a whitewash, and a boxing lesson.

If there are any guys out there who know of the many times that VK was supposed to fight Peter, (as Peter says) but didn't, I'd appreciate knowing. I DO know that Peter refused to step aside when VK had the guarantee of fighting Maskaev, so, rather, one could say that it was "Peter who got in VK's way" back to a World Title.

There's no doubt but that, assuming he steps into the ring, VK will tarnish Peter's image further, since he's NEVER been stopped nor KD'd; and has only 2 losses both by injury when he was a mile ahead in the fight. Not only that, hes' such a hungry-man hunter, that all his wins have been TKO's or KO's only ONE single boxer survived to the last round. And that was TIMO HOFFMAN, for the European Title, a huge and unbeaten fighter himself. However VK won just about every round.

Yes, he fights with his mouth open, and so does his brother, but any opponent taking heart from this, had better think again. it's just a habit, and they NEVER come into the ring unless FULLY prepared to go 12 hard rounds. We just saw that (or almost) last night with the WK-Tony Thompson fight. Tony was VERY difficult and awkward, and I believe that WK suffered more facial damage in this figfht than any other. I'll bet that when, sometime in the future, before or after he retires, Wladimir is asked who was his toughest fights, that Tony Thompson will be in there somewhere. It WON'T be Samuel Peter.

.....If big Vit is 50% of his old self he will flat **** Peter up. I hear that Vitali is still pissed about the rabbit punches that Peter delivered to Wlady. You know how he reacts when someone ****s with little brother.
