Best Boxing Skills of Active Fighters....

It was Floyd IMO. Now he's "retired." Manny's lb 4 lb, but like Roy Jones, his dominance does not come from his knowledge of the sweet science, but from his incredible gifts of speed and power.

Who do you think has the most pure boxing SKILLS? I say Juan Manuel Marquez... Discuss....

nobody has an opinion on this? maybe i should make controversial, ridiculous titles for my threads if i want hits like "Cotto has no Chin", or "Margarito is Gay"- seems thats the best way to get replies!

Judah. He has crazy talent, so fast and powerful. However, he loses focus after 4 rounds all the time and loses

interesting. i would put judah more on the "talent" side of the spectrum because of his speed and power. focus to me is part of the boxing game. cool, calculated execution utilizing ones talents to one's full advantage.

casamayor, winky wright, ivan calderon, christin mijares come to mind...

Ahh. I mis understood the question. I thought you had meant the most naturally talented fighter.

yea, maybe i should be more clear. who do you think is the best boxer though?

also, in addition to my list above (jmm, casa, winky, ivan calderon, mijares) I'd like to add Raf Marquez- a boxer/puncher who is very accurate and malignaggi too, except that Paulie has fallen off since dominating lovemore n'dou the first time getting caught with reckless shots and having porous defense lately. he better shape up if he wants to beat hatton (and if i am to win my bet below, haha).

trudat. Of course. I guess I just excluded him because of the peter II debacle and how awful he looked against Rahman. Please come back James!

Marquez is a well skilled boxer. I also think Joshua Clottey is one of the most skilled guys at 147, he is very smart & technical.
