Why are people saying Pavlik vs. Williams is a mismatch?

First, when he is too big to be fighting welterweights people say that he has an unfair advantage weight draining down to that size and should be fighting middleweights. Now that the opportunity comes to fight someone HIS SIZE.. Yes, his size.. You forget that Williams started his career out @ middleweight, now all the sudden it's a mismatch?.. I thought this was what people wanted?
Anyway, when he does fight Pavlik we will see why he would rather kill himself to make the welter limit then to fight dudes his own size.. because he can't and wont be competitive at his own weight.

it isn't a mismatch. ppl just tend to lack basic common logic. williams is a natural super middleweight.

well its a HUGE jump up in wieght for only 2.5 months.

If he makes and fits the weight well, it could be a hell of a fight.

Its just funny when Pavlik, Arum and his fanboys start bleating about how the Light Heavyweight Champion is "scared" of him.

Then he goes and fights a Welterweight titlist.

ok, williams is not a welterweight. he drains himself to death to be a welter. he weighs about 165 on fight night. he is probably walking around at this moment at over 170 pounds.

its a good fight for pavlik but there are better fights for him in his own division like abraham, sturm, winky. this fight doesn't make sense for rankings or money.

Williams is being incredibly ambitious by moving up two weights to take on the top guy in the division. Most fighters will test the waters before chasing the big names and I see it as a very risky move.

sure it is ,but if he gets a win it paid off huge, a loss is not that big a deal, since he jumped up 2 classes.

it'll be a good interestin fight..williams is gonna be tougher than most people think his size is right and he has skills.. hopefully he knows what to do with it when it comes to fightin pavlik... cause u have to think about this jermain taylor in the first fight against pavlik hit pav with some bombs that wouldve finished anyone the boy got up and the next couple of rounds were his till he finished him off..Now does Paul have the strength the calibur of jermain to mix in with his skills to really get at pav..I dont think so but paul could maybe hang in there and beat him by decision...
