I am not comparing ability just the fact they jumped straight into title fights.

I love the way people like to twist other peoples words, I understand what you mean spinks did jump straight to fight Tyson from been the LHW champion, And Leon spinks only had 7 fights at HW before he fought Ali.

I would like this fight to build up a bit before they(Wlad and Haye) go at it, Its building up perfectly at the moment, Wlad is having terrible fights and if Haye can beat one or two good name at HW by KO it would overhype the fight which would make both fighters alot of money.

Personally I think they will both have 1 more fight each and then get it on, I feel that Wlad knows full well if he does not face Haye (who, depending on who you listen to is either the future of HW boxing or a complete hypejob) then he will be derided by the boxing public.
Haye is concerned that if they dont meet soon that someone else will beat Wlad and therefore take the glory away fron him and against Thompson Wlad did nothing to convince that Haye would be aking a massive mistake.

Well it looks like Wlad would probably fight in November/december against Povetkin, And Haye is fighting in October/November like he said he should, That means we should be looking forward to early/mid 2009 and am sure with alot of build up it would be a good victory for whoever wins between Wlad and Haye at that point.

Realistically we know what we are getting with Wlad and he is unlikely to change, however the next fight Haye takes and his performance therein will tell us a lot about his chances of beating Wlad.
Im looking forward to seeing Hayes next fight and hoping he comes through it impressively.

not if peter beats vitali. that would make peter/wlad 2 the biggest fight with both having belts on the line as well
