    3. How Come Someone Have “over 30 Fights Won With No Losses” And Hasn’t Fought Yet For A Title Or Even Been Consider Among The Top Ten Not Even A Top 25. He Hasn’t Even Fought Any Of The Top 10 Boxers In His Weight Class. I Know He Didn’t Had A Amateur Career And That’s The Excuse To Fight Weak Opposition As A Pro But With “over 30 Fights Won With No Losses” He Should Be Willing And Able To Fight An Average Boxer Or Else He Don’t Belong In The Pro’s

His Handlers Are Milking His Famous Family Name While Padding His Record Against A Series Of No-hopers An Some Have Made Him Look Bad!
    Excellent Thread!

I know that you think since most Puertorican boxers are great, that all of them should be great, and that's not the case. Hetor Camacho is Puerto rico's ******ed son and still, he took Chavez Jr. 12 rounds

I call him fake cuz he's been call; "One of the best ever". And he was good but not all that. He got famous for fighting often and of course you look impresive in the ring when you fight weak oposition!

                  1. He got an undeserved draw with Whitaker

Chavez showed signs of fatigue throughout the fight and had difficulty cutting off the ring and catching Whitaker. In addition, Chavez's punch output dropped severely. Furthermore, Chavez world famous inside game was ineffective as Whitaker, not known for his inside game, was beating Chavez in the inside exchanges. Whitaker was not known for his punching power but did stun Chavez a few times in the fight with hard left hands. The fight was held in front of thousands of Chavez supporters in San Antonio but even they became dead silent as they started to see Whitaker take force and dominate Chavez with little trouble. Before the scorecards were announced the Showtime television commentators were in unanimous agreement that Whitaker had won the bout and didn't even consider it to be a close contest. Just later, the scorecards were announced and the fight was declared a draw. This prompted some boos even among some of Chavez fans as they recognized that Whitaker was the true winner of the contest. Several members of the media, such as The Ring magazine and Sports Illustrated were disgusted with the decision. Later on several journalists complained of the fact that the WBC appointed the judges to the fight rather then the independent Texas Boxing & Wrestling Program. This promoted widespread calls of corruption for the world titles to banish this practice; however nothing was done

                  2. He lost to Oscar De La Hoya by KO twice. The first fight in round 4 and the second fight in round 8
                  3. He lost to Kostya Tszyu by KO in round 6

Who had he ever beaten that was a legit fighther??? Chavez got famous by his paddle record not for a win on anybody!!! lol

This is a reminder to me to show restraint before I call anything the dumbest thing ever said in this forum. I could make a long list of "legit fighters" beaten by JCC (who I don't even like), but it really isn't needed for serious boxing fans and would be dismissed by you anyway.

It is dumb ass necks like that, that make my generation look like idiots,(not you Scott, the one your replying to, I am agreeing with you). He needs to go back to reading comic books. Just because he didn't start watching boxing till 96, that was only 16 years after his career started.

Let me see you win 100 fights, hell fight 100 fights, then we will talk about how over rated you are, getting that many wins is difficult.

Thank you for proving once again that intelligence runs wild out here, just let me know when you catch it.
