Why dont fighters lay it all on the line anymore

    Why dont fighters lay it all on the line anymore

    This crossed my mind in many recent fights, especially last nights dimsal showing.

    I think with the amount of belts on offer, a fighter getting a title shot knows if he gets beat then he will more than likely get another shot soon and still be able to call himself world champion.

    Also they are not just fighting to survive like they did years ago, and no they can still get a decent payday for not much effort.

    At least when you only had one champion, the title challenger fought like it was there last fight and that it might be the only chance they ever get.

    There are some fighters who do. But those guys are garbage...like Katsidis.
