Worst Heavyweight Champ to watch??

No that fight ******. I had a hard time staying awake through his last couple fights, but not this fight. Not the most exciting fight ever, but it wasnt the worst I have seen from heavyweights. Wlad looked shaky at first, Tony came to fight, then Wlad broke him down and koed him. Ive seen much worse fights, at least he is gonna knock the guy out in the end 9 out of 10 times.ahhhhhhhh so you're saying tonight was exciting because he got the KO? lol, 5 seconds of entertainment maybe. How about Sultan, the one real challenge he's had for a long while? Were all those articles after the fight talking about it was the worst heavyweight unification bout of all time made up?Comment

The most boring heavyweight champ to watch was probably Chris Byrd.
I found Muhammed Ali, with his "earmuffs" defense, low KO percentage and rope-a-dope boring as hell too.
Now I'll be stalked and harrassed by those people who go around with a hard-on for Ali.Last edited by The Hammer; 07-13-2008, 07:32 AM.Comment

I wouldn't necessarily call a 61% KO low.
That means more than 1 in every 2 fights he KO's them. Including his lossesComment

Wlad is an exciting fighter when he's not fighting awkward southpaws. Lewis and Holmes were both safety first fighters who tried to dominate with the jab. If Wlad had "no" skills as some have said, how did he win a gold medal and defeat every top HW in the world?
Before Manny trained Wlad he fought like Tommy Morrison and it cost him 3 defeats by punching himself out against Purrity and getting caught by Sanders. The loss to Brewster was also a case of Wlad trying to force a KO and punching himself out, before he bought into Manny's system. Now Wlad uses the jab and paces himself like a big HW should.Comment
