You're absolutely right. Imagine how much pain this guy must go through in life knowing he got ko'd by a cartwheel. Everytime his son or daughter says "look daddy" and starts the cartwheel motion, he probably flinches. Poor guy.

First off, A cartwheel kick itself can knock you out when it lands(trust me, my cousin use to practice it and I'd hold the thai pads for him and it has enough force to knock someone out). On the video though, it appears as if he was poked in the eye by it. Anyway, to get caught by a cartwheel kick, you're either a joke of a fighter, or the guy executing the kick is damn good. In this case, in my opinion, the guy that got ko'd by it shouldn't even be involved in any type of combat sports. A cartwheel kick is easy to pick up, you really have to have some really slow reflexes not to be able to react to it.

To answer the question, I think getting ko'd by a jab is in even worse. A jab, I don't care if it's Larry Holmes or Hearns taggin' you with it. You simply don't belong in the ring if you get ko'd by a jab PERIOD

Nice post. I read that he broke his cheekbone from that cartwheel kick. I didn't realize people actually practice that move and have the balls to try it in an actually fight. I agree getting ko'd by a jab might be worse, but it doesn't sound as bad. It just sounds ridiculous, getting ko'd by a cartwheel.

Any one remember when Alejandro Garcia dropped his hands against Travis Simms because he expected the ref to step in and break up the action? And he wasn't ready for any punches and Simms just layed him out seconds later?

That amount of inattention could possibly compare, though just because little girls do cartwheels doesn't mean that move is any less legit if it lands like that. It's the fact that there was no defense for it that was the worst for it by the guy who got KOd
