Glenn Donaire, IMO doesnt have it unlike his brother...

That said, some of these Mexicans are delusional to think that Solis could have knocked Donaire out when Solis refused to stand toe to toe and trade... Solis was obviously scared of the lacking Donaire and when not asking for the ref's help, he was busy running away for dear life...

Hahahahaha!!!! I didnt know running in both directions, grabbing and holding everytime Donaire got close, whinning like a ***** to the referee all night is a show of boxing skill....

You fake ass midget cowboys run like scared little pansies when you face someone that can punch... But when you know the guy is smaller, you want to trade and stand toe to toe... Thats not a warrior... pathetic pieces of crap is more like it...

BTW, if I was Bobby, Id find the basement you and your family is living in and smack your mom for birthing you...

          Biased Decision By Judges

THERE WAS DEFINITE BIAS IN THE JUDGING OF THIS BOUT. THE CREDIBILITY OF ANY FAIR JUDGING IN MEXICO WHEN FOREIGN OPPONENTS COME INTO TOWN IS A BIG ZERO. THE JUDGES WERE AFRAID OF FAN BACKLASH IF THE DECISION WOULD HAVE GONE TO DONAIRE. I'LL NEVER TRUST "ACCURATE" JUDGING IN MEXICO. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. DID YOU EXPECT OTHERWISE???

Mexicans no doubt have solidied their place in the fight game. Theres no arguing that. But in the last 40yrs in head to head title matches OUTSIDE of Mexico...its a dead heat. Some mexicans just wanna ride sack and count these mismatches and biased decisions that occur in mexico and say its a landslide victory. Not saying that Donaire won this fight nor did he deserve to...just saying the "stats" are full of **** because obviously theres a reason why mexicans dont wanna travel to manila for a title match also.

because they dont want to get robbed like darchinyan did.

what is it with you ****ing dumb pinoys yelling robbery as soon as a ****ing decision is made? if hes mexican and won a decision in mexico against a pinoy he automatically got a gift, shut the **** up already! 99% of the ******s in philboxing dont even watch the fights and ***** that it was a robbery, it happened against condes and now this fight, ****ing cry babies, solis whooped his ass

Los Angeles:- Not too many fighters in their whole career get an opportunity to get a shot at a title, and not too many gets to do it for the second time.

Glenn “The Filipino Bomber” Donaire did, but unfortunately the fight he was involved with which gave him a shot at history, did not come out the way Donaire has hoped. Donaire lost via a hard 12 round UD to the current IBF light flyweight, Ulises “Archie” Solis.

From our point of view, Solis did not win the fight. The judges simply gave it to him. Donaire was the aggressor all through out the fight and he connected more than Solis.

But, such is the fight game in Mexico. So what else is new?

But even in defeat, Donaire should keep his chin up. On the first place, no one gave him a chance to grab the title other than his Team and a few close supporters, this writer included. And, the odd-makers even tag him as a 15-1 underdog. What was important was he fought like a champ and he gave it all and left everything on the ring. To think that he accepted the fight even when it was held at Solis’ home country speaks volume of the man.

Had the fight ended differently, Donaire would have created history. He would have been a world champ simultaneously with his younger brother Nonito Jr., the current IBF flyweight champion.

Top photo: IBF lightfly champ Ulises Solis (L) lands a jab at Filipino challenger Glenn Donaire during their title fight at Palenque de la Expo in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico moments ago.
its a filipino boxing website, what do you expect? I'm not bashing the filipinos, just saying that its obvious that they would favor their fighter.
