IF Williams beat Pavlik would it be Upset of the Year!?

If Williams beats Pavlik or even holds him to a VERY close decision, I think Williams should get a hell of alot of respect for even stepping in the ring with Pavlik so if he wins will it be upset of the year?

Even if he loses by close decision people should respect the guy tremendously! Obviously I think Williams will get KO'd but part of me wants to see Williams win because of what he is doing.

Williams has that frame that would fill out nicely at 160, so it's not like he's gonna be smaller than Pavlik. The thing is though I wonder how his power will be. I think he could cause problems with his length, I just wonder if he can handle Pavlik's power. Not very many people have at this point, because Kelly throws often and is accurate so Williams with the way he fight will eat some punches. It should be an interesting fight and like Scott9945 I don't think it will that big of mismatch like some people think. Lockett/Pavlik now that was a mismatch.

I agree with scott, this isnt a big mismatch. Paul is a big welterweight and has good skills. i think he will carry his power up to middleweight and will mount a serious challange to kelly. That being said, i think kelly will have the edge in power and heart as well as being used to fighting at 160, and that will get him over the line.

I think it will be an even fight to begin with, both fighters trading shots and staying busy, but as the fight goes on, kelly's power will start to tell on paul and wear him down. by rounds 10, 11, 12 kelly will have a clear cut but not runaway lead on the scorecards and paul will have taken enough punishment, and kelly will win a TKO.
