I don't get why people are calling this robbery! It was a close fight that involved JCC Jr. winning the first 5 round easily and the two fighters batteling out the next five with Vanda taking an edge on the last five. In the end a score of 97-93 is acceptable. 100-90 is ridiculous, but the winner is still the right winner. And just to clarify, I am not a big fan of JCC jr. at all.

There goes again your reasoning. Now, in order for it to be a robbery, Chávez or the promoters must have looked for, not one, but THREE judges, or payed off not one, but THREE judges. Of course, because, you know, having AT LEAST one judge in your pocket doesn't count for anything. Perfectly legal, ethical, and of course, it isn't a robbery unless the three of them are bought/biased.

Do you know how ridiculous it is, for me to sit here on the other end of our convo and somehow be forcefed the idea of foul play?

I don't know for a fact the judges were paid off. Sure it's ****ing possible and that decision has already been perceived as home cooked.

But if I stated: "Oh you're right those judges were bought" I'd be lying to myself because I just think that one judge was a jackass.

I mean I've seen as strange or stranger score totals before.

If every judge scored it 100-90 in favor of Chavez, we'd have a discussion.

As it stands it was a split decision where 1 judge scored it for Vanda.

Go ahead and slow down on the booze, I don't wanna hear conspiracy.

I won't dispute the outcome, but I will strongly disagree with your (lack of) logic here. While it's true that "in the final outcome" it does not matter if a judge had it 96-94 or 100-90, the fact that a judge blatantly scored a fight incorrectly IS noteworthy, and certainly worth discussing/investigating. Doesn't necessarily mean that the loser got "robbed," but it could still be an indication of a "fix." Can you decipher the subtle difference there?

A judge can be in the tank for a fighter, and that fighter still might happen to win straight up.

Also if you were to claim he penciled in the scores ahead of time and had to go back and erase them once he saw Chavez **** up, I'd say that's feasible.
