was tonight a worse performance than the Ibragimov fight ? i mean Thompson was there to be hit at least Ibragimov was a cagey ,fast HW Thompson was slow as hell he did not want to fight and was there to be taken out and Wlad still did not have the Cajones to put his foot on the gas and take him out sooner :wank:

The Sultan fight was much worse. This fight was not good though.

No. Wlad did what he had to do. He brought the fight to Thompson, he had the tactics right to defeat the southpaw and he finished when Thompson showed signs that he was ready to stop. It was better but still not a great pectacle for the neutral fight fan.

No, it wasn't. Wlad was a little more offensive minded in this fight and was willing to let his hands go more.

            No.
            He was better tonight.
But still, I don't think being better than a performance like the one back in February is saying much.

              No ****ing way.

And I don't know why everyone is up in arms. You clearly saw how cagey and durable Thompson was. He's a better heavyweight than we all thought.

That's all there is to it.

This thread has an obvious answer. As for the fight tonight can you name what displeased you?

No way. Wlad threw power shots and seemed much less worried about being hit than he was against Ibragimov.
