Wlad performance against Thompson kind of disappointing?

The fight went very much as I predicted, except it took Wlad an extra round to KO Thompson. I said KO 7th to 10th, because Thompson is a good fighter who could not be stopped in the early rounds.

I was impressed by Wlad today. He looked to be a little less than 100%, but still fought very well and eventually brutally KOed a big man who had never been knocked down before.

Wlad showed some ability to dodge punches, showed he carries his power into later round and can adopt to awkward opponents. Tall lefties are a ***** to fight for someone with Wlad's style.

Wlad also finaly showed some body punching, have not seen that in many years.
Overall I would say that is a B+ performance with a satisfying ending.

Well I guess you were watching some other type of fight, because what I saw was innumerable amount of right hands landed to the face of Tony Thompson on top of some body punching in return for the effort.
Not to mention he was pushing all the action and Ledderman out of generosity awarded Thompson the first round to no avail, as he went on to lose the next 10 big ones.
If winning 10 rounds in a row isn't domination then I do not know what is, do you care to explain?

            Seriously? Out of generosity?

What the hell did Wladimir do to win the first round?

hell no tony the tiger showed that he deserved the shot. He didint stop Krasniqi for nothing. Klitschko showed that he can brawl, tony gave him problems and showed that he has a good chin and heart but Klitschko overcame it and ko'ed him, good result for Klitschko and it was an entartaining fight.

If punching someone in the gloves count as landed punches, then I guess Wlad did perform great... Unlike his brother vitali who lands punches on his opponents body and face!!!

he can hurt someone at any time. I know Wlad would KO Tony, i just thought it was going to be sooner.
