Correct me if I'm wrong, but the ref robbed Santos of the KO by stopping the count at 8 with Alcine on the floor, and therefore it's a TKO. Right?

Actually thats a good point, it should be like the error rule in baseball where an official makes a call afterwards.

This is something similar but Ponce got the KO. Fast forward to about 4:00 mark.
