    And for good measure.

I think everyone is jumping ship because GBP is going to fail.

of course GBP is gonna fail. oscars pimpin everyone involved. plus on top of that there most recognizable/marketable fighters are all like steps away from retiring. their new rising stars aint gonna be able to fund and keep GBP going strong.

Golden Boy have only been interested in flogging the same old guys over and over with pretty ordinary undercards on their PPV's. GBP could have been great, but it wasn't meant to be.

          im a noob.

Oscar used to get boxers to sign with Golden Boy by dangling a big money fight with himself in front of them ala Hopkins, Mosley, Hatton. When he retires, whats he going to do?

Yeah because Barrera who is 0 - 2 in his last 2 fights wants out now GBP is going to fail.

            Golden Boy just signed.

            Juan Diaz
            David Haye

Plus they have the biggest box office fighters in Boxing

            Hatton
            Pacquiao
            Delahoya

I think alot of this has to do with Barrera thinking GBP wanted Marquez to win instead of him, dude is a bit paranoid and wants to make his own promotion now. Barrera is pretty irrelevant in the sport anyways, with that horrible fight he put up against Pac I really could care less if he ever fights again. MAB turned down a fight with Alex Arthur for a decent purse, whats he holding out for?? A third fight with Pacquiao??

Does Barrera have the intelligence to handle such a company?

Honest question, I don't know much about him outside of the ring.

                  Now and the future:
                  Juan Diaz
                  David Haye
                  Manny Pacquiao
                  Israel Vazquez
                  Hugo Cazares
                  Abner Mares
                  Juan Manuel Marquez
                  Ricky Hatton

                  Some solid B level guys:
                  Librado Andrade
                  Jeff Lacy
                  Rocky Juarez
                  Juan Lazcano

                  A COUPLE OF BIG FIGHTS:
                  Bernard Hopkins
                  Oscar De La Hoya
                  Winky Wright
                  Shane Mosley
                  Junior Witter
                  Joel Casamayor

                  I wouldn't be too worried.

Before boxing, he wanted to become a lawyer. And had a good chance at it.
