Diaz-Katsidis 1500 tickets sold in one day...

Is this good bad or decent? 8500 seats are whats for sell in the arena. So 7000 are left after one day. Depending on how fast they sell more seats will be opened up. 1500 a good number or not?

Pretty good, actually. If they sell anything over 6K, they are doing decent for both being not the BIGGEST of names and coming off of losses. Though, with fighters this exciting, you'd hope that it'd have a bigger arena and turn out. Nonetheless, the winner will have a lot more fans and be able to get the bigger arenas/venues and all that good stuff.

for 1 day thats very good. Hopefully they sell all of them. A packed house for that fight would be amazing.

1500 sounds pretty good even though usually the first day racks in a good chunk of ticket sales. I hope they get close to 10,000 for this fight, houston is a big city and I dont see why they couldnt fill the whole bottom level up. Enjoy the fight if you're going.

Should be packed, a couple of hometown boys you can't go wrong. Problem today with promoters is they want the fights to be in Vegas all the time, maybe Golden boy will smarten up and start putting the fights where the fans will flock.

Mosley vs Mayorga will sell good in LA

Diaz vs Katsidis will sell good in Houston

Hatton had a huge turnout and gate in Manchester.

Maybe they make more money of betting in a place like Vegas than in seats? (don't know, I'm trying to make some sense to the fact that you presented)
