Does Top Rank think Pacquiao is a draw without a Mexican?

Not a hate thread, serious question. It seems they work their hardest to match him up against a mexican opposed to other fighters. Guzman, Campbell, Valero, Casamayor for example, maybe them having upcoming fights may have something to do with it. Lets examine his last 13 opponents...

    David Diaz
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Jorge Solis
    Erik Morales
    Oscar Larios
    Erik Morales
    Hector Velasquez
    Erik Morales
    Fahsan 3K Battery
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Emmanuel Lucero

12 of his last 13 opponents were Mexican or of Mexican Descent (Diaz)

The number of viewers were all pretty decent to good. Does that lower against a fighter not mexican?

I'm pretty sure they're aware the Venezuelan Valero would be a big draw, considering he has received world wide attention.

Other than that he has fought a **** load of Mexicans but that's not really his fault since all the top guys have been Mexicans (until now at 135).

Really for his next fight there are only two possabilities - soto or valero. All others are fighting later in the year (campbell/guzman, ricky hatton, marquez/casamayor, diaz/katsidis).

I think theres more mexicans boxers, and that there are more mexican boxing fans.
Top Rank knows people will follow Soto, especially after all the attention his last fight received. And of course there are always those people that are just waiting for Pacquiao to be beat again.

he's a draw but obviously he does better with a mexican opponent.

mexican fans make up the bulk of american boxing fans.

I don't believe he's a big PPV draw without a legendary Mexican opponent. I think Pac-vs-Soto should be on HBO WCB with Valero on the undercard and then build up a fight on PPV but as of now I wouldn't buy Pac-vs-Soto. Good fight just wouldn't purchase it.
