You guys are underestimating Tony Thompson

I agree with the threadstarter.

Thompson is a good fighter - he's big and strong, solid defensive fighter, he's never been knocked down, and hasn't lost a fight in eight years (his only loss was a close decision in a four round fight).

He will be very focused and determined.

If you followed boxing you would know that Thompson is a good fighter, the best american heavyweight, he's a legit top 10....He will most likely lose, but he's gonna at least put up a fight.

I think Wlad will win the fight, but it's not gonna be the blowout everyone thinks its gonna be...Thompson is a good fighter, he hasnt lost a fight in 8 years and he looked impressive dominating Krasniqi,Guinn and T.Ibragimov.

Thompson kinda fights like a heavyweight Winky Wright, he's a smart fighter with good defense, keeps the guard up and has a very good jab.

I think Thompson's awkward southpaw style and top notch defense will cause Wlad some problems and will take this fight into the later rounds, but Wlad being the great fighter he is will most likely adjust and find a way to win the fight.

Thompson aint no pushover, he is a legit top 10 heavyweight and the best American fighter, he will put up a fight!

Thats the thing they're trying to make Tony thompson something that he isnt, About him been big and strong Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee, Have they even seen him fight? A guy who has been 12 rounds once in his whole career!!! A guy who was still fighting 8 rounds up to 2 years ago!!! a guy that struggle with Timor Ibragimov( the less talented cousin of Sultan).

They should Stop trying to big up Tony so Wlad would look good in victory, I would take Povetkin over tony anytime anyday.
