You're right...I can Honestly say that I havent really seen Hopkins get beat up or KO...Hopkins is Defensive Wizard to make a very good fighter look like hot garbage. I've always like the defensive fighters myself (WInky, Floyd, Sweet PEa) Anybody can go out and throught bombs at your opponent..but it takes skills to make them look silly by making them miss. Thats what I love about him...the ability to take your strenght and turn it against you!
