Froch will beat Pascal, which will hopefully land some significant praise. He wants the fights, but others don't want to face him.

When he is the WBC champ they cannot hide from him no more. He was huge risk, little reward but now there is a title at stake, and not just any title, but the most prestigious.

Kessler is the only man at SMW i can see beating Froch, but with enough confidence and the WBC title underneath his name, Carl could suprise a few people if Kessler is willing to fight him.

Watch this video, shows just how genuine this guy is.

I think it's disgusting the way he is being treated, all he gets is "he's not a name, hes not a known fighter". I agree he isn't but give the man a ****ing chance otherwise he will never become a name he's the WBC's no1 contender ffs.
you can start the comparisons when somebody turns down $8 million to avoid this man.

You are right, I'm not writing him off but you gotta admit he looked lethargic and un-explosive considering it was his US network debut, it was a good opportunity to show what he can bring to the table.

He didn't look good, and the opponent was awful too. I think that guy had quite some chin though.

Inkin pulled out twice for that fight, the guy was a last minute replacement who was undefeated...and he destroyed him

Lou DiBella on the chances of Taylor/Froch and Carl Froch's predicament: http://youtube.com/watch?v=lSt8QSKhy30

It's not my fault or Jermain Taylor's fault or even HBO's fault that (Froch) got tooled around by a bunch of European pretender fighters who were too scared to get in the ring with him. Not our fault.

Also, I love Mick (Hennessy), but he should've gotten this kid to the U.S. sooner. Look at the money Hatton's now made; Hatton had to take some fights where the money was ok, it was pretty good in the beginning, but he had to fight on American television to get some exposure.

The only exposure Froch's had on U.S. tv was on ShoBox, which frankly nobody watches, and it wasn't his best night. It was actually one of his worst nights.

              -DiBella
Lou's got some questionable character at times but you've gotta give it to him for being honest in this interview and saying that it IS about money and exposure, both of which HBO can offer. It's his job to look after his fighter's interests (aka bank account); not the fans.

Froch has no regard for human life.

The main difference between Froch and Calzaghe is that Froch has no idea what a sheep's vagina feels like.
