How come after beating Marquez Chris John has fought only tomatoes??

I have not followed much of his career but thought he looked terrific in that fight with JMM. How come no real fights in the last 4 or so afterward.

cuz he knows he got some home cooking. him fighting actual contenders and losing would have just confirmed the sentiments. dude was given a chance to fight Rocky Juarez on HBO PPV on American soil. thats some great exposure there, but they tried to play it off as if Rocky was taking to long to agree? haha sure.

CJ is being protected. And he is consider the Pac of Indonesia, that is according to a story on CJ in a past issue of Ring mag. He makes descent money just fighting in Indonesia, not great, but ok.

chris john is ****ing good too. thats the sad part. theres no denying he has talent. but it feels like his management wants to just squeeze whatever they can out of him and by the time John realizes it, he will be past his prime lookin back at a career where JMM was his biggest win.

jmm did get robed in that fight, i think he won clearly. Cj is a good boxer though, he might pull a calzaghe and fight in the states untill the very end of his career.
